I really think that NS12 is underused in the cymbal world.

Hi IV....these are very cool....they are actually on a semi-permanent loan to a rocker friend of mine....they have excellent projection (and NS12's are reputed to be "soft" sounding) and are very defined and bright with some nice swishiness underneath...not the "metallic" kind of B8 definition...something very unique. There's a lotta hammering on these...other Stanoples I have played seemed a bit chincier in their construction and thin in tone...but these were pretty meaty, ballsy 'hats....I think these were very early ones in that line. I think it'd be kinda cool if Paiste started makin' the NS12 line again....
