That must be the heaviest 20" cymbal I've ever seen. You could probably measure the thickness with a ruler. It is probably almost just like Michal Miskievicz's Agop turk flat from Tomasz Stanko's Quartet. His sounds really heavy, but it's really nice. I'd love to hear it.

Yes, it actually sounds a lot like Miskiewicz's cymbal...matter of fact, oddly enough, after I got this one off of eFlay, I saw Thomas Stanko about 3 weeks later, and there it was....and I had a good role model for how/where to use it in a set-up. Amazingly, it's not a dead sounding cymbal at all...unfortunately, one of the sax players I play with dubbed it "the hamburger"...I will never forgive her for that....
