This cymbal has a distinct sound. Cutting stick definition, not too overbearing, though, the taper is slimmer than same-sized A. Zildjians from that era. Balanced and great for Big Band, Jazz, Latin, rock, whatever. My "Ride of the Week." See the hammering patterns? This cymbal sounds every bit as good as it looks.
