kingston ride cymbals / 22" old K repaired / contantiniple flat / spizz flat

hi, i was just wondering about a few things. does anybody here have a kingston ride cymbal, 22" that you're wiling to sell? i have two already and i want to own a couple others.

Second thing, i bought an old K. new stamp. it's a 22", not sure about the weight right now, but i took it to maxwell's in nyc and i think they wouldn't give me more than 900 dls. do you think it would sell for 1500-1700? given the fact that they're over 2000 on ebay and reverb? i love that cymbal but it's not for me, that sound doesn't work with the way i tune and play.

i also have a 20" k constantiniple flat ride but i can't find any other online to compare prices. one guy on ebay was selling it for 900, which i thought was overpriced. someone has one? wants one?

AND, last thing... someone told me about a spizz flat ride... is that a myth? i've never seen one...if anyone has one i'll be willing to trade my old k or buy it from you.

    video of the old K.

hope this is not too long.

The K sounds excellent, but with that big notch, I think $900 is about what the market would bear.

I have a Spizzichino 10 bell and I know that Don Roberto made at least two china cymbals so I believe that he might have done a bunch of flat rides. They will be rare, and expensive, but not a myth.

He definitely made flats but they are quite uncommon. One or two holics have examples of them...

I agree that about 1k is max on the K. I bought and sold my pristine 22 new stamp 2360g for $1900.

At least two holics have fairly recently had Spizzichino flats (probably both still have them, I guess). One 22 and the other was smaller.

a rivet or 2 or 4 or more would lift that 22 K from the basement and maybe-be more- playable for you. Welcome in.

I have 6-7 Japanese cymbals that are probably past their time being with me. 2- 20's. an 18, a 16, and 2-12s.

    the markings are

    2-12: Japan (under the bells)
1-16 : Japan (under the bell)
1-18 : Pearl Special top edge Japan under bell
1-20 : Pearl Special top edge Japan under bell
1-20 : Astro top edge Japan under bell

    I have also
Pearl Made in Japan CX-500 China type 18" that should be included

I've had 22 Maxitone and a 22 Kingston both sold.
