Oriollo Phantom Snare Drum (like one of Sinc's!)

    BUMP!!

    Now 390 shipped! conus!

Here is a beautifully made Oriollo Phantom snare drum that I have very much enjoyed owning and playing. Aluminum shell, 6.5 x 14. Our brother, Sinc, got me interested in these after I saw his cool promo video (I believe Sinc is an endorsor) :

Here is more info on these unique instruments, made by Serbian artisan, Vukan Karadzic:

I feel Vukan is to custom made metal shells, what Craviotto is to wooden shells. Mine has one of Vukan's special "Graffiti" finishes; red with gold hilights. My photos do not do the drum justice, but can give you an idea. I have played about a dozen gigs and recorded with the drum as well. I hope to have a soundfile of my 2017 recording of my piece "Ascension Northwest" up on holic soon. On there, you will hear the drum in action at a live performance in an 11 piece ensemble. A recent purchase of a round badge snare for my Gretsch orphan kit project, necessitates my passing this Oriollo onto one of you fine holics.

Here are 6 photos for your perusal.

Great drum, perfect blend of crispness and body. I would buy it if I didn't have one already.

It has a wide tuning range and I believe Vukan makes the 32 wire snares as well. Very sensitive. The quality is there, guys!

    BUMP!!

As previously stated. I would keep my Oriollo but bought a vintage RB snare I have to pay for. So this is your chance to join the Oriollo revolution.

Great snare. I just purchased a 6.5 Oriollo Phantom from a fellow forum member and couldn't be happier with it. Somebody needs to jump on this.
