Juice (can I call you that?) I have had one (a RB from 1966) since 1975.

What I don't have is a 6.5 one altho had my hands on a brass-color-ed 6.5 years back. And should a bought it. So I'm cool Juice.

And I have wood RB G snare too Juice. I got both worlds. Both non-Ludwig worlds.
Gretsch snare World is where you make mistakes and it just makes you angrier. I can like that.
The cast hoops are 8 ft tall and 4 ft wide.
It's a mean proposition all around

Gretsch were the first to build the wal

If you have a 6.5 brass I may trade you something
    even.
