    Im going on a 10 day trip today to teach and perform at a Big Band workshop and also play a few gigs with two different (one acoustic and one more electric) sextetts and a Trio. Looking very much forward to these days! Heres what Im taking with me - should cover everything, right!?

    Base are those Ks? Sorry, I have a short memory. Do they sound as good as they look?

    That's my home rug - the tour rug is not allowed in the house for obvious reasons ....

    My current practice room setup. Working on exploring possibilities of the left side with an open-handed approach as a righty.

    kcmcc - those pics are great! Love the old Luddies. I have some myself - downbeat in Champagne sparkle. What's your current cymbal setup? Curious on the cymbal in the main spot in particular.

    That is a 20" late 50s (small stamp) A Zildjian, 6 rivet holes (drilled by me) with 4 installed (c. 2200g)
    Others are an 18" Dream Bliss and 14" K-Con hi hats.

    If you setup a double pedal for the bass, I could probably play that kit. Quite a lovely and ambidextrous setup you got there. -b
