Nice kit. Welcome to the forum. Your add should be in the Drums for Sale section of the Marketplace.

Was going to say the same thing. It's only free here if it's an eBay ad-- not cragslist.

Not to make an example of our new member Josh, but I notice more sellers sidestepping the marketplace by linking their CL/Ebay adds here. I personally think if you intend to notify the Cymbalholic community of a sale you have, link all you want, but you should pay the very reasonable fee and do so via the Marketplace. Only exception being if it's not your sale.

Chad makes some bread from eBay links, apparently, so that's why that part of the site is there. He gets a little scratch from the referrals.

Great! Did not know that. Then I'm referring to only CL adds.

Thought I followed rules according to sticky in Marketplace forum-

READ ME FIRST: Using the Marketplace

We don't allow you to sell your cymbals (or drums) anywhere on Cymbalholic (including in your signature) except in the Marketplace or as a link to eBay or Craigslist.

Thought a CL ad was acceptable.

    Did I overlook something?

No I don't think so. Looks like you're good to go. To be able to notify members of this forum of a sale is really valuable. Everything I've ever posted for sale here has sold and all the transactions were smooth as silk. Well worth a small marketplace fee I'd say.

I think with the paid "Marketplace" ads there's an implication you'd ship to a holic... and likely negotiate the transaction here on the forum. A great service for $5

This "ebay listing" section is like "hey look, I'm Josh, I'm a happy animal and am selling my RFM bopkit that I no longer need because I'm a NV snob. It's on CL go check it out if you're in the Bay Area".
