Kent Drums were initially made in New York and later became one of the ubiquitous Japanese stencil brands. A buddy of mine has a US made Kent kit and the bearing edges are crap (inconsistent profile), as well as the hardware. That said, they still have a decent sound, but a limited tuning range. I don't think anyone is collecting them, but the U.S. ones must be getting rare.

Old 22 602 259 BIN. Seller says thin. Nice looking hammering, esp bottom. Wish I could just snap it up...

"yucel' is the name under some Masterwork cymbals? (the one I had) and this 'himonry' outfit, seems to have much stuff that Gretsch either sold off as seconds or as old unsold stock So...
maybe XEAjaha (the name) was trying to make a comeback via 'Yucel' via Gretsch ..that never materialized?
Thing about the 'himonry' seller; he doesn't ever tell you what all he has; even if you ask for a specific " yellow 8x12 gretsch shell?" He won't go look..He trickles it out, when he's ready ; Wouldn't be surprised if this is not the only XE cymbal, he has...

    I see there's more.. Yucel

Gretsch may have had thoughts about resurrecting the XEajaha name; contracted yucel masterwork to make a few; see turkish is there with same yucel (Lucille? ; under bell

    22" 2230g Lauritsen Kontro

Just thought I'd let folks know that I've got a 22" Lauritsen Kontro at 2230g (very flexible) consigned at Maxwell's in NYC.

    http://www.maxwelldrums.com/craig-la...0g-p-6656.html

They haven't done a sound file yet, so here's Craig's original video:

Condition (at least when I dropped it off) was as-new (plus stick marks).
