22" Sixties A. 2965g Not for the Bashful

    $180 plus ship.
I ended up dropping those four rivets in; it needs them. Gonna record the soundfile later tonight. She's big, bold, beautiful, and ready for another 100,000 miles.

I actually think it sounds great with the rivets.

It kind of reminds me of Ben Dixon's ride here

Cleared!! Haha that's typical. As soon as I make an offer and drag my feet for a few days somebody gets their wallet out and beats me to it.
A nice one. Would have been the heaviest 22A I ever owned. Congrats on the sale. Glad you got your price.

Thanks for understanding Heaviest A I've ever owned too. I wanted it to do things it wasn't comfortable with, even with the rivets. It was a good cymbal but just too heavy for me. Who knows, maybe you would have liked it. It was LOUD! Maybe one day someone braver than me will get it lathed down a bit. It could be really fantastic if done the right way.

Instead of lathing it I'd just buy a thinner one. What I was hearing in yours was a big clear stick sound, bright but very smooth. Nice separation with a pleasing wash. I have a 21 that's medium heavy. It's also very smooth. I have another 22 Trans Stamp coming so that'll take care of my withdraws for a bit.
