Gretsch Square badge 20/12/14 black lacquer

I'm selling these for Joe Corsello: Gretsch square badge (probably 80's) thin shelled 14 x 20, 14 x 14 and 8 x 12 USA Maple kit in Black Lacquer.

These drums have their battle scars but they simply scream.

8 x 12 Nasty gash but otherwise great looking and sounding drum. I had to replace the tom bracket with a new one because the bolt was missing the T. I will include the old broken one.

14 x 14 The best condition drum of the 3. I got to play this drum when I sat in at Joe's gig. It sings for days. Has the solid and not the hollow floor tom legs. Joe also has a Canopus snare side head on the reso side. Beats me.

14 x 20: Typical wear. Lots of gashes in the lacquer where the 12 rests atop of it. I had to replace the mount because like with the tom bracket it was missing the T on the bolt I will I will include the old one. Joe handed me a couple of bags of hardware to sell. There were a bunch of Gretsch T rods in the bag so I replaced the bent ones w/ the straight ones. The hoops are typical for Gretsch: indentations and lots of chewing up from the claws and bass drum pedal. Joe has a pin strip batter and a ambassador coated on the reso side. Tech spurs and comes w/ Gretsch single bass drum mount.

The toms have coated emperors on the batter side. Not the best head choice for these drums. All drums have the paper tags inside them.

Here is a link to a sound file. It's just me and the three drums. No snare, no cymbals, no BS.

We're asking 1500.00 with your choice of either free shipping or a free set of soft cases (Ahead with the thick plush inside)

This is a killer little kit, but you're going to want to put new heads on them. You may want to strip them or recover them, but I think you should just play the snot of them.

I am away from 6/30 to 7/8 but will be checking email. These drums will only be available for sale on cymbalholic and drumforum. If not sold by then I will post to Reverb.
