22 K ISTANBUL OLD STAMP TYPE IIA (1945-49) RIDE, 2365 grams FOR SALE - VIDEO

    Dear All,

I offer for sale this very special cymbal, because I need money now and this is my most valuable cymbal, plus I have other old Ks I like to play.

This is one of my best sounding cymbals.
Beautiful and well articulated stick sound on top of nice wash.
Sensitive edges, crashes very easily with beautiful sound.

    Ideal weight: 2365 grams.

Very good condition, no damages, except one very small bend (not crack) at the edge shown on picture # 6.
    Original small bell hole.
Signature is visible under the bell.

The below video was made by a former owner.
The cymbal is played on the right side:

In the video the cymbal is specified as IIB, however the era is definitely IIA (small K letter), not IIB.

I asked the previous owner - who is a Cymbalholic member too - how he would feel if I intended to sell the cymbal for the highest bidder.
He answered „it is my cymbal” and I can do what I wish.

However, I am in trouble to specify the target price, because in my opinion it is hard to compare this cymbal to anything else, even to other 22” old stamp Ks from later eras. I have never seen a 22" old stamp IIA cymbal. I guess this one was one of the first 22" old stamps made in Istanbul.

I would appreciate if you could share your idea what target price could be specified for this cymbal.

If interested, you can contact me here or emailing to kalmarjazz@gmail.com.

    I can ship worldwide.
    I have PayPal.

    Thanks, Zoli

The cymbal has been sold today.

Sorry JDA, I had not time to record the bell sound, but in my opinion that sounded nice, clear and well articulated.

The new owner has already had this cymbal a long time ago and wanted to retrieve her back.

I am happy this special cymbal will be in good hands and will be appreciated.
