    Collingwood Bells & Chimes clear-out.

    So I've been gathering various bells & chimes, mainly rescued from damaged cymbals, some hammered from flat discs, a couple in stainless steel etc. etc.

    The first cymbal fo the first batch made me think of Johan.
    It has some super hi freqs that remind me of his cymbals.

    Got my package of two today. Fun things! I used to wonder what a bell without a cymbal around it would sound like, now I know.
    The Cymbal Book says Vinnie used a cut-out hi-hat cymbal as a bell/splash. Gregg Bissonette is quoted as having used similar ones cut from marching cymbals.
