22" 1950's Zildjian K Istanbul Old Stamp IVb

msum just kindly bumped my 22 old stamp listing under the eBay section. Thought I would post here too as a heads up…

I can't stop the auction at this point for the typical paypal gift purchase, but y’all might want to throw an eBay bid in there since the auction price is low. If you’ve ever contemplated getting a 22 old K then don’t shy away from this one because of the weight. It's actually a great cymbal...has that classic old K tone but also cuts through very nicely. I believe a good cymbal-set goal is for the main ride to be the dominant sound. You won't get that from a typical soft, thin old K, at least not the ones I've had. Auction ends today 9:00pm EST...

Brave indeed - good going. I wish I had $1126 because I think that went under market. Great looking cymbal.

Yep…that price was about right. It was a gamble and worked out ok.

The Craviotto kit is next. This one will be like a roller coaster ride. I guess I like stress…

Craviatto? Sheeeit..good luck. Those are for drummers that perform in the privacy of their own homes.

Type IVs are a Bitoch. Stiff as a Pittsburgh bridge.
Don't confuse them with any other era of Kdom

"Pliant" is not a word associated w/them. devastating stick yes .. yes
almost one-dimensional in the all of Kdom
Only ones like that. Even Intermediates have a little 'give'. 4s? Stiff as..

Joe, you forgot the with that Dare ya.

I'm always happy to get data from $1 No Reserve auctions because if you believe traditional economic theory they give higher quality data about the likely market value. So thanks Dan.

I'm currently engaged in this type of selling here in NZ, but the stakes aren't as high

Note: don't bid on these, you have to be in NZ to play. And postage would kill any deal.
