    20 lsr

Looking for a 20” for the left--a Bounce, Kerope, or the right, dark, low pitched old A. I’ll listen to anything, but I’m heavily leaning towards a nice Z.

I've sent you stuff on my 20" Kerope in the past. Should I assume "no" remains the answer? It definitely has a low wash. I think rivets could bring it to the right spot. If I don't get a bite in the near future, a drill will be taken to it.

I have a very cool Bosphorus 21 Lyric and a 20" New Orleans that both work great in that spot.

Hey Poetman, check out the 2nd cymbal in this video - starts at 0:59. I've been meaning to post here for sale, but haven't got around to it yet.

Thanks. That’s really nice, but I’m looking for a bit more trash, gnarliness, or Cobb Blackhawk vibe.

Can you post a youtube.com video (from a jimmy cobb recording) of a cymbal sound you are looking for. At a medium or medium slow tempo.

I'm guessing something like this cymbal? Cymbal starts at :57

Put your hands up and back away slowly from the drill.

This is certainly not the only LSR sound I will accept; it’s just a recent sound that I am very much after right now. There is a trash—or just an absence of a clean/smooth sound that I really want. It’s not excessively trashy, just gnarly enough with great wash and presence. Of course, Cobb’s feel is SO swinging—& as Seb rightly said, “hypnotic”—but this cymbal is a current motivating sound for my LSR ideal.
