My those two -were-are- close in sound. One is (was) a IVa and now this one is a IVb. And, there are 3 grams difference (or do you say 2350 for the one that remains. (2348-2345) I dunno , I'm starting to like- "hear"- them..

But as we know, asking isn't getting. Higher prices go to 22" Old Stamps. As far as asking prices over $3000, I've got about 5 (other than the one in this thread). Asking prices at $3000 (neither a dollar more nor a dollar less) an old stamp was on offer in May 2016 but didn't get any nibbles. The record price goes to an old stamp which went for $3850 in Dec 2013. Closely followed by $2900 to Drumaholic (Bill Hartrick) for an Old Stamp IVa in July 2013.

    The price distribution goes:

...Hi Zenstat, there was another one in 2009, just for your records...still in my basement

Must be a terrible cymbal if you’re keeping it in your basement. ;-)

What stamp? Can I bet it’s a rare one?

One bid win. Nice one (literally). How many times can I write one in one single post?

    Hi Jda,

My 22" old stamp IVb main ride for sale weights 2345 grams.

I think this one sounds different compared to the 22" old stamp IVa 2348 g cymbal I bought from VeeJay and sold to a Cymbalholic member.

Thanks Mattias, I've added that sale to my records. I don't have 100% coverage of all sales, and I didn't really get started until mid 2013 on K Zildjian Istanbul cymbals.

How close in weight is your cymbal to both Art Blakely's&Tony Williams K Istanbul Zildjian 22" rides?.
