22"s owned by some of you...

In the back of my mind, I'm usually hoping I will see one of two cymbals listed for sale on these boards.

    1) WubWubWub 's Old 22" Agop 30th' (2289) featured below:

    and

    2) This sucker...I cannot recall the member who originally had it for sale, but I remember it went to Europe.

If these come around, keep me in mind please.

I love that second ride. I think it was meant to be a kerope proto. They should've made it just like that.

As for the second one: The viseo definitely has been made by Matthias Kuert. The red letters are a first hint, but his movement at the cymbal beat demonstration in the play along section is a dead giveaway!

Thanks, Base. Yes, I recognize that’s his work but dont know if he’s a member here (haven’t seen anything to indicate that). WubWub hasn’t been around for a long time either, so I am hoping these were kept in the family or, perhaps, others know where they might have went.

He for sure has been one at least! And he used to post here too - but that have been on the old forums? Actually I think it has been more recently, but a quick look in the memberlist didnīt bring up a username I would connect with him.... maybe others might remember?

Thank you SO MUCH for this link! I missed that sale and couldn’t remember who owned it—or who got it, and I had no way of bringing up the old thread! Thank you (How did you find it?) Maybe Daniel g can give me a hot lead!

After reading those earlier threads, it seems I’m after a Kerope prototype without the patina! I wonder if the lack of patina I why I prefer the prototype? I’ve heard less than enthusiastic views about the patina on Keropes.

you're welcome Poetman! I've simply searched for "Zildjian prototype" on this magic forum. I remebered that cymbal very well, it's one of my favorites too!! Well, good luck with your search then!!
