    18" K Istanbul

    18" K.
Its a intermediate stamp ( thanks Zen!)

There is some damage. Not really a crack. 2 dent lines, 3 drilled holes at the end of the dents, and a partial Dremel of one of the dent lines. These are not full thickness cracks or dremeled areas.

I can't hear a crack vibrating, but clearly there is some damage on this cymbal.

Mount hole fits modern stands. No keyhole.

    Lays flat. Smooth edges.

I'd say that cymbal has an Intermediate Stamp, not that it makes much difference. Since I did my Which K Stamp is this? I've found two more specific features which distinguish the Intermediate from the New but I haven't written them up yet. They are handy because you don't need to be able to see the size of the star.

I forgot about a couple of the things on my Intermediate vs New checklist. Here's an annotated version of your stamp showing all the Intermediate features which are present. I haven't been actively looking for these sorts of diagnostic features but I note them down when I come across them. I am working on similar feature sets which distinguish all of the different K Zildjian stamps. The goal is to find distinguishing features in different areas of the stamp since so many of these have some parts missing or poorly pressed in. I've got pretty good feature sets for most, but the OS3A vs OS3B are still needing a few more.

I'm not sure the red is working out as legible (some strange bleeding effect) so I might redo this before I update my online tool with this image.
