    24" Nolan Ride @3385g

    Hey, All--

I've got $500 + shipping invested in this handmade beauty by Matt Nolan, but it's just not my thing. Because I got it from another 'holic, I'm extending the usual courtesy of asking only what I've got in it: $500 + actual shipping, worldwide. I will also straight-up trade for a 22" Lauritsen turk or turk-top, if you've got one.

The Nolan has one ding on the edge, which I've photographed along with a dime for scale. Not affecting a thing, really. But I wanted to note it.

    But first, video:

    Pics here:

So musical. I can hear that just killing in the music, in all sorts of genres. Looks amazing too. I normally can't stand cymbals with the different bands of lathing like that but Matt's always look great.
Do you know what alloy it is? Kinda sounds like B8?

Pretty sure it's B8. But it could be something more esoteric, as Matt uses blanks of several different alloys to make his cymbals.

I wish I did! Sold that one a couple years ago like a moron. Same as I'm stupidly doing with my Lauritsens right now... Bills bills bills!

Monday bump. I'm starting to think we should start listing our cymbals on a forum where people have money to spend...

I'm opening this up to trade offers before I list this cymbal on Reverb. Looking especially for Lauritsen pies, but cool trade + cash offers are also welcome.

Not that this helps you at all cause I just can't spend more money right now, but this is one of the most beautiful cymbals I've ever heard. There's so much depth to the chime of that stick... ugh, if only....
