22" Istanbul Agop Traditional Dark Crash 1973g

I bought this from Tony at CymbalsOnly.com about 2 years ago. It’s very light, thin, wobbly, warm and buttery (1973 grams). A lot of give and flex. Responds to the lightest touch and opens up smoothly.

There is a section about 1/4” wide that is bent down every so slightly, maybe 1/16th of an inch. It’s the kind of thing you really have to look for to notice. I have no idea how it got there or how long it’s been there. (I’m not a heavy hitter and I store this in a padded case). I only noticed this when I inspected it closely today before putting it up for sale. I personally don’t think it’s a big issue, but I want to be upfront about it so you know what you’re getting.

Other than that, everything else is great. A little dirty (never cleaned), but the edges are clean and there are no cracks or key holing.

Nice! I know Tony recommends the crashes of the Traditional series as jazz rides. Have you found this work pretty well as a main ride up to medium volume settings? I absolutely love the wash on these from the video clips I've heard.

I personally find it a little too washy for a ride in a medium volume setting. But it works in the lower volume settings. I especially love it with brushes or the Promark Broomsticks. I don't know, if you really like super-light rides, you may be able to make it work in a medium volume setting.

Any sounds for this? Something that oddly light at that weight--you got to have the sounds!
    Sizzle swings....

I'll try to record something and post it tomorrow. I wish I still had the original sound file from cymbalsonly.com!
