    FOUND: Paiste Rough Ride

Curious if any of you have a 22" Rough Ride you might be willing to part with. My interest was peaked by some 'holic videos.

There's one for sale in Ebay.UK that was mine. Now it belongs to another forumite. I got it here from member Cymbalguy and it's great.

I've also been interested in these since I heard Tom Killan's one on a CD:

That's interested to learn about not interested to run out and purchase. I've already got too many cymbals.

Thanks for doing the hard job, zen.

It was very late when I answered to this thread and I was tired.

Thanks Jon. I had to put it on my watch list so I was there anyway. And if I was really doing a good job I would have linked to the cdbaby site for First Principles because there are some other songs which give more prominence to the Rough Ride. Although I do love the Kora (21 stringed instrument from Guinea, West Africa) in that track.

The first search I did for "First Principles" came up with a zillion hits on raves about economics or philosophy , so I took the easy way out and grabbed that YouTube video sampler track.

Good luck, curly. I love mine (second video), and, sorry, don't plan on selling it anytime soon.

Thanks. SCDRs seem to be dime a dozen compared to the roughs!

Yeah...I've owned three or four of these over the years, and this one is definitely superior, IMO...For lack of a better word, much "tamer" than most. Really blends well with other instruments, yet still retains its unique personality!!
