    Almighty Craig Lauritsen 22s

Alright dudes. I don't have any money but I bought two Old Ks like a moron anyway, and now I really don't have any money at all. I'm so broke it's like I basically couldn't be any more broke so I really don't care if I remain this broke forever. Actually I play drums for a living so I'm really very used to being broke.

ANYWAY there's a little devil on my shoulder (I call him "The Man") telling me that I don't need more wonderful amazing unique characterful cymbals than I can play at one time, which we all know is BS but whatever, here's my incredible Craig Lauritsen cymbals for your purchasing enjoyment. If they don't sell I'll be happy, and if they do sell, THE MAN will be happy which I guess is fine too.

I'd love to sell them as a pair cause I bought them as a pair and they really work so well together, so I'm offering them only as a package. If they don't sell after a few weeks I may separate them.

#1 - 22" Lauritsen Rustico, Extra Trash, Overhammered with Natural Patina (ET OH NP) 2332g. Dark and evil. The trash is present in all the characteristics of this cymbal but it's an incredibly SMOOTH trash that I haven't really heard elsewhere. It's so smooth you might hear it and think "hey this cymbal isn't trashy at all" but then you realize that the trash is subtle and musical, like a good Old K, not like the hamfisted trashy Agops you're used to hearing. I drilled this one for 2 rivets and now it's even better than before.

    Craig's vid:

#2 - 22" Lauritsen Kontro 2103g. I asked Craig to patina this cymbal to match the other one which he did, and it sounds and looks great. Overall clean character with rich wash. Icy stick sound. Opens up with shanks and edge crashes beautifully. Doesn't wash out even if you try to make it, despite the thin weight.

    Craig's vid:

And here are a few videos of me playing then, first alone and then two in musical contexts. All of these recorded with the Zoom Q2n. In the third one I also have an AKG C414 underneath the cymbals near the snare so maybe there's a bit more presence there. You can hear the rivets in the Rustico in the third vid as well.

Not going to try to make any money off of Craig's beautiful work - Selling them for what I paid. Save yourself the year long waiting list! I'm selling these as a package, if they don't sell together after a few weeks maybe I'll separate them. $1450 USD shipped in North America, actual shipping elsewhere. Paypal "gift."

The Kontro is on my left in all the videos
Could easily go the other way around, I just like it up there.

Man, that Rustico is a killer. I wish I had the gigs to justify taking it off your hands.
