This is the most amazing snare I have ever played.
Crisp, cracklin' and yet the bronze gives an overall warm, woody sound with some complex overtones from the hand hammering.
Amazing on stage or in the studio, it tunes itself or else it simply sounds great where ever you tune it.
Canopus Vintage wires help a lot and this drum is EASY to play. Very sensitive.
This was a special order from canopus and cost over USD 650.00 a coupla years ago and is still in perfect condition.
