But the real question is:

Would your bid have exceeded $1,202.02?

If not, then it really wouldn't have made a hill of beans worth of difference.

I like the question somebody asked:

Dear Sir, would you be interested in a trade with a Spizzichino 22" ride? thanks

As if the guy would really want to go for a "deal" like that.

It's as if like he expects him to think like:

"Oh boy, what an opportunity. Those 22" Spizz are getting really scarce these days. I'd better jump right on that one."

And I'm surprised that nobody brought up the fact that this cymbal, which weighs a mere 1785 g….was considered to be a "medium" back then. Or at least that's based on what the ink stamp says.

Also I like what the seller said in his ad:

If you're reading this auction, you probably already know all about the mystical Turkish K's, so I won't bore you with the history…
…and thanks much for that. If somebody needs to know about Zildjian history, that can easily be found in dozens of places elsewhere. Just tell me about the cymbal.

Probably yes. I have two good ones I would have sold because as I am trying to match a 22" I have (a 22" from '68 and a 20" from the late 50's). So my budget would have allowed going a little high on that one because of my goal to match my 22".
