Rogers 9/72 Drum Set

I am selling all my drum equipment as I no longer play, so up for grabs is a beautiful set of Vintage Rogers 9/72 drums. The drums are in very good shape and sound excellent. This auction is for everything pictured, including:

Bass 24"x14" (#34476)
Floor Tom 16"x16" (original, but number can't be read)
Tom #1 13"x8" (#002494)
Tom #2 12"x7" (#34538)
Rogers Dynasonic Snare with stand
Rogers Hi-Hat with Zildjian Avedis C2 14" Cymbals
Ludwig (Paiste) 16" Standard Cymbal with stand
Ludwig (Paiste) 20" Cymbal with stand
REMO Rototom Set (10", 8", 6")
Cow Bell and Mount
Drummer's Stool
Case for the Base Drum
Case for hardware

The Floor Tom has a piece of the white Formica covering missing that is about 1" square. The large Rack Tom has one head screw missing, and the bass is missing one of the hex legs. The Dynasonic Snare is missing the snare frame, but it was never used anyway. It was very popular to remove these, as most people did not know how to tune them. The snare wires are in place and functional. All of the missing hardware is available elsewhere. The heads are used and show some wear, but are intact and functional. Some are the original Rogers heads.

what you all think?

White formica? New England White, right? I dunno. The cymbals didn't seem to be that interesting and that wasn't a great era for Rogers IMHO. May be a good deal, maybe not. I would love to have some 60s Rogers, and would pay well for the right kit, but I would personally walk away from those. Perhaps someone else can chime in and correct me or offer you better advice.

Yeah, kinda of a wait and see on this kit... Not overly excited about a 24... And am not a fan of the plain white finish! BUT it comes with roto toms! heh heh

I don't know about this kit, but I still have a Rogers kit I bought new in August 1972 and it's a well built and great sounding kit. They were still making good stuff then.

I have a Rogers 1972 kit and I think think it sounds great as well and is built solid. I don't have any other era kits to compare it to though...
